Camp Rio

Bibleland Kids is excited to launch Camp Rio: A Sunday morning, summer camp-like experience for 1st-4th grade kids. Each Sunday, June 6-August 29 (with a break on July 4), your outgoing 1st-4th grader is invited to attend “camp” at the Student Center while you attend the Sunday, 10:30 AM worship service.

At Camp Rio, kids encounter Jesus and discover the River of Life that flows from him! Each weekend kids learn to be disciples of Jesus, and to share the good news of the gospel with others. Kids are disciples who make disciples! Activities during camp are planned to recreate a summer camp experience. Kids are invited to play outside, participate in water activities and other fun (and messy) activities!

Oak Hills Church Student Ministry is partnering with Bibleland Kids to serve the next generation of Jesus followers! Middle school students can serve as junior camp counselors, and high school students can serve as camp counselors, alongside our adult camp directors.

NO COST or pre-registration needed for children to attend. Parents plan to park in the Student Center parking lot, and check in your 1st-4th grader at the Student Center each Sunday by 10:30 AM. Be sure your child is NOT wearing their Sunday best. Shorts, t-shirts, and running shoes are encouraged.

This summer, our traditional Bibleland Kids Bible classes are offered for 3 months – 4th grade during the Sunday, 9:00 AM worship service. Bible classes for 3 months – Kinder are offered during the Sunday, 10:30 AM service. Camp Rio is our Bibleland Kids experience for 1st-4th graders during the 10:30 AM service.
